Recommended print settings
- No supports. The wall is vertical and the top is flat.
- One colour, so one filament. PLA or PETG both print it well.
- A 0.4mm nozzle holds the fine imprint lines. Tell the studio your nozzle so it sizes to it.
- Print the cutting edge on the bed for the crispest edge.

How does it turn an image into a cutter?
It fills in the background so the drawing becomes one solid shape, cuts that shape as the outline, and takes the lines inside the drawing as optional imprint detail that stamps into the cookie. Clean line art works best.
Does it need supports, and is it food safe?
No supports: the wall is vertical and the top is flat. As for food, that is about your filament and hygiene, not the model. Print in PLA or PETG, hand wash it, and many people use it with a thin barrier or treat it as a one-use or dry-goods cutter.
Can I make a plain cutter without the inside detail?
Yes. Imprint is a toggle. Off gives you a clean outline cutter; on stamps the inner detail, and you set how deep it goes.
My design has detail that does not touch the outline. What happens?
In an open cutter, detail that does not reach the outline would fall out, so it is left out and you are told how much. To keep all of it, switch to Stamp: that makes a separate embosser, a plate with every piece of detail raised on it, that you press onto the cookie after cutting.
