Fidget Clicker Maker: turn any image into a 3D printable clicker
Drop in a logo, a photo, an SVG or an emote, or type the text you want on it, and this studio turns it into a print ready multicolor clicker: a base that holds the switch, a cap that snaps onto it, and every colour of your artwork on its own filament slot. There is no CAD, no AI, and nothing to model. The mesh is checked before you are allowed to download it, so a file that will not print does not reach your slicer. And if you do not own a Cherry MX switch, you do not need one: the studio can print you a switch too.
How it works
- Drop in an image, an SVG or an icon, or type the words you want. Backgrounds are removed for you.
- Pick BUTTON, where your art sits on a shape, or SILHOUETTE, where the clicker BECOMES your art.
- Choose the shape, the size, and how much of the cap the artwork fills.
- Set a texture on the cap top or the base side, and a cap edge: sharp, bevelled or rounded.
- Choose your switch. A real Cherry MX, or one the studio prints for you.
- Tell it your nozzle. Every stroke in your artwork is measured against it, and you are warned about anything too thin to come out.
- Export a multicolor .3mf, laid out on the plate, ready for Bambu Studio or Orca.
What it does that the others do not
A switch you print, not a switch you buy
Every other clicker generator needs you to order a Cherry MX. This one can print the switch: a two piece design, no supports, no glue, no overhangs. Slide the plunger into the cage from the side and drop it in the base. The same clicker still takes a real MX if you would rather.
Silhouette mode: the clicker IS the artwork
The base is GROWN from your image, not fitted to it. A cow logo comes out cow shaped. Loose letters are welded into one plate, because a cap has to be one moving piece.
Holes go clean through
A ring, a donut, the counter of an O: the hole is cut through the base AND the cap, with a proper rim. It does not come out as a solid blob.
Textures
Ridges, crosshatch, knurl or dimples on the cap top, around the artwork. Flutes or ribs down the base. All cut in, never raised, because the cap prints face down against the bed.
It knows your nozzle
Every line in your artwork is measured against the nozzle you told it about. A stroke too thin to print is not a surprise at layer 40, it is a warning before you start.
The export is checked, and it can be refused
Watertight, manifold, no open edges. If the mesh is wrong, the download does not appear. The check is never weakened to make the button come back.
Real multicolour, not painted
Each colour is its own part on its own filament slot. Open the file and print. No painting, no manual splitting, no guessing.
Move the switch
Slide it off centre and rotate it. If you push it somewhere it cannot fit, it is walked back to the furthest spot that still holds it.

Recommended print settings
- Nozzle: 0.4mm. If you are printing our switch, this is not a suggestion: the spring is made of 0.5mm gaps and a coarser nozzle fills them in.
- Layer height: 0.16 to 0.20mm. The artwork is only as sharp as the layers under it.
- Print the cap FACE DOWN, art against the bed. The bed is the smoothest surface in the room, and the artwork comes out mirror flat.
- Supports: none. Nothing in this file needs them, and the printed switch is designed so that stays true.
- Material: PLA is fine for everything. PETG if it is going on a keyring and living in a pocket.
- The base prints standing up as it comes. The plate is laid out for you.
- Cherry MX switch: press fit. No glue. If it is loose, raise the switch tolerance a little and print the base again.
Questions
Do I need a Cherry MX switch?
No. You can use a real Cherry MX or clone, or print our own switch: the studio generates a two piece printable switch that drops straight into the base. It needs a 0.4mm nozzle.
What file does it export?
A multicolor .3mf, laid out on the plate, with each colour on its own filament slot. It opens straight in Bambu Studio and Orca Slicer with no painting and no manual splitting.
Do I need to know CAD?
No. Drop in an image, an SVG, an icon or some text. The studio traces it, fits the switch cavity, checks every stroke against your nozzle, and tells you if something is too thin to print before you waste filament.
Can I sell what I make?
Only on a plan that includes commercial rights. Every export carries a MinterMark: a signed record of which licence it was made under, which anyone can check.
Does my image leave my computer?
The live preview is built in your browser. The final file is built on our server so the licence on it means something.
