Keychain Maker: turn any image into a 3D printable keychain

Drop in a photo, a logo or an SVG, and this studio turns it into a print ready multicolor keychain: a flat backing plate, your artwork in its own colours across the front, and a loop sized for a real split ring. There is no CAD, no AI, and no separate PNG to SVG step to do first. The art sits on a solid backing rather than cutting through the whole thing, the mesh is checked before you can download it, and nothing in the file ever needs supports, whichever way you print it.

How it works

  1. Drop in an image or an SVG. Backgrounds are removed for you.
  2. Pick the body: SILHOUETTE, where the keychain is the shape of your art, or a stock TAG shape like a circle, a squircle, or a shield.
  3. Choose the face. Flat prints face down for a smooth, level front. Face up lets you raise or engrave each colour.
  4. Choose the back: a plain plate, the art on both sides, or a mirrored back so a tag reads the right way when you flip it.
  5. Add the attachment you want: a hole punched straight through, a split ring loop, a two hole lug for a cord, or a bookmark clip that slides over a page. Place it anywhere on the edge, or leave the plate bare.
  6. Tell it your nozzle. Every stroke is measured against it and you are warned about anything too thin to print.
  7. Export a multicolor .3mf, laid flat on the plate, ready for Bambu Studio or Orca.

What it does that the others do not

Flat and clean, or raised, your choice

The default prints face down against the bed, so the front comes out mirror flat with no layer lines. Switch to face up and you can raise any colour proud or engrave it in, per colour.

A real backing, not a cut through

Your art sits on a solid plate, so the front shows your colours and the back is clean. No thin, fragile cut outs, and none of the print all the way through look.

Silhouette mode: the keychain IS the artwork

The plate is grown from your image, so a logo comes out logo shaped. Separate pieces are welded into one hangable plate, traced from a distance field so the edge is smooth, not a pixel staircase.

One side, both sides, or mirrored

Put the art on the front only, on both faces, or mirrored on the back so a tag reads correctly when you turn it over.

A loop that fits a real ring

A plain hole punched through with no tab, a split ring loop sized for an actual ring, a two hole lug for a cord, or a bookmark clip: a long U that slides over a book page. Each sits anywhere on the edge you point it, and you can leave the plate bare instead.

It knows your nozzle

Every line in your artwork is measured against the nozzle you told it about. A stroke too thin to print is a warning up front, not a surprise halfway through.

The export is checked, and it can be refused

Watertight, manifold, no open edges. If the mesh is wrong, the download does not appear, and the check is never weakened to make the button come back.

Real multicolour, and exact SVG colours

Each colour is its own part on its own filament slot. An SVG keeps the exact palette from the file rather than guessing it, so your brand colours stay your brand colours.

Recommended print settings

  • Nozzle: 0.2 to 0.4mm. Finer nozzles hold finer art. The studio measures your artwork against whatever you pick.
  • Layer height: 0.12 to 0.20mm. The art is only as sharp as the layers under it.
  • Print FACE DOWN for a flat front: the art side goes against the bed and comes out mirror smooth. Face up if you chose raised art.
  • Supports: none, ever, either way. Nothing in this file overhangs.
  • Material: PLA is fine. PETG if it is living on a keyring in a pocket.
  • Colours: one filament slot per colour, laid out for you. Open and print.
  • Ring: a standard 20mm split ring fits the loop. A cord or lanyard fits the two hole lug.

Questions

What file does it export?

A multicolor .3mf with each colour on its own filament slot, laid flat on the plate. It opens straight in Bambu Studio or Orca with no painting and no manual splitting.

Does it need supports?

Never, in either orientation. A keychain here is flat backed with vertical colour walls, so nothing overhangs. Print it face down for a smooth flat front, or face up for raised art. Both come out clean with no supports.

Will the picture print all the way through?

No. The art sits on a solid backing, so the front carries your colours and the back is a clean plate. You do not get the see through, print all the way through result the naive tools give you.

Do I need CAD or an SVG converter?

No. Drop in a photo, a logo or an SVG. Backgrounds are removed for you, and an SVG keeps its exact colours. There is nothing to model and no separate converter to run first.

Is it free, and can I sell what I make?
