Terms of Service

Last updated 13 July 2026

The short version. Use the studios, make things, print them. What you make is yours. You may only sell what you make if your plan says so, and the licence attaches to the design at the moment you export it, so it survives you cancelling. Do not upload artwork you have no right to use. Do not try to break the export gate. This box is a summary and the sections below are what actually binds.

1. Who we are

Mesh Minter ("we", "us") operates meshminter.com and the studios on it. By making an account, or by using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the site.

2. Your account

You need an account to export from a premium studio. You must give a real email address and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

One person, one account. Making extra accounts to collect more free exports is not allowed, and we may close all of them.

3. Plans, credits and payment

  • Plans are billed monthly in advance and renew until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, then stops. You are not billed again.
  • Monthly export allowances do not roll over.
  • Export credits never expire. They also have no cash value and are not refundable, spent or unspent.
  • Your monthly allowance is always spent before your credits, because the allowance expires and credits do not.
  • We may change prices. If we do, we will tell you before it affects you, and you can cancel.

Refunds

Payments are not refundable. What you are buying is delivered the moment you press export: a file, on your computer, that cannot be handed back.

  • Credits are not refundable, spent or unspent. They have no cash value.
  • Cancelling does not refund the current period. Your plan runs to the end of the period you have already paid for, and then stops. You are not billed again.
  • If we close your account because you broke these terms, there is no refund.

We may issue a refund at our discretion, in circumstances we consider warrant one. That is a judgement we make case by case, and nothing here is a promise that we will.

Studios may be added, changed or retired at any time, and no particular studio, feature or format is guaranteed to remain available.

None of this affects any statutory rights you have where you live, which we cannot and do not try to remove.

4. What you make is yours

You keep every right you already had in the artwork you upload. We claim no ownership of your designs, your images or your files. We do not sell your artwork and we do not train anything on it.

5. What you may do with what you make

This is the part that actually matters, so it is written plainly.

Personal use (Free and Maker)

Print it, keep it, give it to a friend. You may not sell it, in any form, physical or digital, and you may not upload the file anywhere that gives you points, rewards, credits, revenue or any other benefit.

Commercial physical rights (Merchant)

You may sell physical prints of designs you export while your Merchant plan is active. You may not sell or distribute the files themselves.

Digital distribution rights (the Digital Seller add on)

You may sell, share or upload the files of designs you have explicitly licensed for digital distribution while the add on was active, including to model platforms, and you may earn points, rewards, revenue, credits or other benefits from them.

The promise, and it is a real one

Designs licensed while your plan is active keep their commercial rights for life.

Cancelling does not take away rights you already had. If you licensed a design on Merchant in July, you may still be selling prints of that design years after you stopped paying us.

What a subscription buys is the right to license new designs. It is not rent on the ones you already licensed.

Subscriptions are what keep the site running: the server, the bandwidth, fixing what breaks, improving the studios you already use, and building the next ones.

What counts as a new design

A design is identified by its settings and its artwork, taken together. Export the same design twice and it is the same design. Change the artwork, the size, the shape or the colours, and it is a new design that needs its own licence.

6. The MinterMark

Every file we generate carries a MinterMark: a signed record of the tool, its version, the date and the licence it was made under. It is recorded in our database and written into the file.

We keep these records and may use them to enforce these terms, including with marketplaces.

Files exported on the free grant carry a visible MM mark on the underside. That is deliberate. Removing it does not grant you a licence you did not have.

7. Your artwork

Do not upload artwork you do not have the right to use. Logos, characters, brands and photographs generally belong to somebody. If you put someone else's intellectual property into a studio and then sell the result, that is on you, and no plan we sell changes it.

We may remove content and close accounts over this, and we will comply with valid takedown requests.

8. Things you may not do

  • Try to bypass the export gate, the queue, the quota or the MinterMark.
  • Make multiple accounts to collect free exports.
  • Resell or redistribute access to Mesh Minter itself.
  • Automate the site to a degree that degrades it for other people.
  • Upload anything unlawful, or anything you have no right to upload.

9. The files, and your printer

We check every mesh before we let you export it: watertight, manifold, and every feature wide enough for the nozzle you told us about. We check it hard, and we block exports that fail.

We cannot check your printer. Filament, temperature, bed adhesion, tolerances, and whether the switch fits, all depend on your machine. Prints fail. We do not refund filament, and the studios are provided as they are, without a warranty that any given print will succeed.

10. Downtime, changes and endings

We will do our best to keep the site up and we cannot promise it never goes down. We may add, change or retire studios. If we retire a studio you were using, files you already exported keep the licences they were exported with.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, and if we do, there is no refund.

11. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost profits, lost filament, failed prints, or a marketplace's decision about your listing.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change is material, we will email you before it takes effect. Continuing to use the site after that means you accept the new version.
